The authority given by the Lord commands and proclaims peace and life.
Go.
In terms, of evangelism, there are a few guidelines like “preach the Good News” (more like a commission).
But Jesus never told you that you had to be like Paul, or Peter, or John, or James, or Origen, or Billy Graham, or Moses, or Isaiah, or Mary, or C.S. Lewis, or anyone else…that is aside from Him. Jesus calls us to be like Him—in fact, that is our destiny. Yes, our...

Anonymous asked: If you believe that the Apostle Paul and the Prophet Isaiah were subject to error, and that said errors have crept into their teachings in Scripture, why do you exempt your revelation about the nature of God from the same scrutiny? Why do you use your revelation as the standard for judging their revelation? In terms of fruit, they've born a lot more than you have; shouldn't they be the...

I loved the; “My view of love has not changed to match my temptations. That’d be lying. I know what and WHO true love is.” Also the bit about telling the girl she was beautiful. Do tell me more about your spiritual experiences, I’d love to hear them ^ ^...

When you tell a non-believer that God is love and they ask you to explain…all you can do is stay speechless and show them the manifest presence of God.

The more revelation you get on Who is in you, the more casual you are about releasing the King and His Kingdom to those around you. The only way to understand the reality that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 Jn 4:44) is to place yourself in situations that put demands…

“What a foolish question!” Khamara replied. “A gold ring is a gold ring. You have lost it, but somebody else will have it.”
“Then what is the…

I think that inerrancy and infallibility are two different concepts. Inerrancy talks more about the Bible as the highest authority (not only, but highest). Infallibility would be more towards the idea that the Bible is absolutely without flaw.

Religion obligates and binds. Jesus frees and unifies.
It doesn’t matter what others think. All that matters is what God think and, let me tell you, He absolutely adores you.
dillondean replied to your post: You misunderstand Biblical innerrancy as Bible worship, when it’s an understanding that God has revealed Himself in the Scriptures and has kept that revelation pure and true, by His power. A God who couldn’t do as much wouldn’t be much of a God at all. You’ve yet to answer my question: How do we know that what you’re saying has been revealed to you by God and isn’t...
johnnyis asked: My question doesn't assume you know everything, it only relies on your previous statements about the nature of Scripture. You're making truth claims about God, and those must be substantiated to be taken seriously. You've yet to do any such thing. The position you seen to hold is self-refuting, and I'm trying to clarify that. As it seems that this discussion is futile, I wish...

johnnyis asked: I'm not the one claiming that the Prophets and Apostles were wrong, you are. Since you're making such a truth claim, I was wondering why I should trust you any more than I should trust them. Basically, why should I trust your statements about God and the Bible—namely that the Bible contains errors introduced by either Satan or human self-deception—when you are subject to both...

johnnyis asked: Could you please explain how the Apostles and Prophets (Peter, Paul, John, Isaiah, Joel, etc.) were all subjected to either human error or the "voice of Satan," and yet your interpretation of God is exempt from either of those?
Blind Faith?
Why is it that some atheists are better students of the Bible than many Christians?
We need some more critical thinking here. God is not afraid of questions. If you doubt something in the Bible, He’s not going to smite you. If you look at something intently with a desire and motivation to understand its semantics and apobetics, Zeus…I mean…God isn’t going to throw...

Be careful getting too much involved in one side or the other concerning “end times” theories. Neither the post- nor the pre- millennialists have “proofs” one way or the other. But one thing we do know for sure: Christ is coming back to judge.
