Lucifer is the Latin word for “morning star”, not a specific name. The Isaiah passage is referring to the Babylonian King who would be humbled, though the passage is tongue-in-cheek. The real morning star is Jesus, who would never be cast down.
Very true, but as far as my understanding goes, Hebrew names were often actual words in the language that were used outside the context of naming someone. Conversely, with the fact that “Paul” doesn’t have a direct English meaning except to denote a specific person.
