An Outpouring: A letter from Chirstian Guys

his-love-neverfails:

Girls, could we talk to you right out of our hearts for a few minutes? It is awkward for us to talk about something of this nature, in person, so we thought we would write our feelings.

We are young men who have been saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. We desperately…

We are called to be a calm presence of love.

Revelations During Work.

Most of the words have been spoken before in the New Testament, but the Lord placed them on my heart tonight and prompted me to share them:

God cannot lie. God will not ask you to do something you are unable to do. He will not load you past your carrying limit.

They reflect Titus 1:2 and 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Papa also told me:

It’s gonna be hot this summer with my burning love for you.

“You” being plural.

Two nights ago during a worship time before a church gathering, God taught me something about the number 7 and its multiples. I found it odd because God had never done something like this during worship before, but I went with it in the hope He would reveal something bigger than just a few numbers. Before I explain, it must be recognized that 3 and 7 are both numbers associated with promise. God is a trinity (3), Christ rose on the 3rd day. The number three is more prevalent in Scripture than seven, but some instances of seven could be these: God rested on the 7th day; the miracle of the 7 loaves and a few fish; there are 7 “congregations” in Revelation; Revelation also speaks of the 7-fold Spirit (reflects Isaiah 11:1-3). Even if you get confused, the meaning becomes very clear at the end. Bear with me.

He told me to list the first 7 multiples of 7 (so up to 49), and add their digits. The difference between the first three consecutive multiples was 2. The next difference was 7, but the difference between the first multiple’s added digits and the fourth multiple’s was 3. 2+2+3=7.

Basically, the recurrence of 3 and 7 (49 being the square of 7, and 3 occurring 3 times [twice in the 1st and 4th differences, once when you add 21’s digits] technically making 3 occur 4 times), as confused as most of you probably are right now, God’s teaching to me of this fact of mathematics represented a new magnitude of promise. He called it “the braided promise”. Something intertwined in such a way that no one could ever even try to pull it apart (as if they could before). But just after God told me of the new promise, the senior pastor stood up and said God was going to make the Body flourish greatly in the next 14 days (a multiple of 7). 14 rang with me and God told me that the braided promise applied here. In the next 14 days, God will commission us, strengthen us, and deliver us in ways we’ve never even imagined. And depending on how exactly this promise works, we’ll either experience greater things than prophesied, the duration will be extended, or both. I’ve already been seeing evidence of the promise being fulfilled even in the first 3 days. Be ready. Wait for the Lord. He is among us.

A Cup Full of Grace: A gospel of love.

acupfullofgrace:

The gospel I was taught as a child was this:

God is mighty, God is holy and God deserves our lives and our praise. We are full of sin and evil, and that makes us offensive to God. Because God is holy, we cannot be in his presence; we are so wretched and evil that we deserve to be cut off from God…

Sermon Notes that are slightly unrelated to today’s sermon :)

This dating fast is not for the cause of marriage. It is to find focus in Christ and what a relationship should be like. Christ’s view of me is the view I should have of my wife when God brings us together.

STOP WORRYING ABOUT MARRIAGE.

It’s not something you have to find. It will find you.

Worship Regularly.
